| Description | Alphabet of Unrootedness is a poetry book by Valery Ledenyov, created as a verbal and visual cycle in collaboration with the artist Vladimir Seleznyov. Written between 2023 and 2025, the texts revolve around the experience of emigration, the loss of grounding, linguistic shifts, and a retrospective reckoning with lived negations. Their sparse form, in which a line often rests on a single word, turns the poem into a graphic space of pauses and gaps.

He was born in Moscow in 1985, worked in cultural journalism, and published in Openspace.ru, Colta.ru, Artchronika, Khudozhestvenny zhurnal, and The Art Newspaper Russia.
