Gorelova E. Dobro pozhalovat' v Zverinograd
| Author | Gorelova E. |
| Title | Dobro pozhalovat' v Zverinograd |
| Description | A small wimmelbook inviting young readers to spend a day exploring the city of Zverinograd. Its inhabitants are animals, but they do all the things people do in any other city: visit the market, cafés, the swimming pool, and the skating rink, open exhibitions, attend film premieres, and, of course, celebrate birthdays. The book begins with a map of the city, giving young readers an early introduction to representing the world in an abstract form. The following spreads then zoom in on individual locations. New characters appear on every page, meet one another, and eventually gather for a birthday celebration. Readers can follow what each character has been doing throughout the day and then try to find them in the festive crowd on the final spread. |
