| Title | Ierusalimskaja azbuka. Ris. A. Florenskij |
| Description | Alexander Florensky (b. 1960) is a Russian artist and illustrator. He became widely known as one of the founders of the Leningrad art group Mitki, and is also the author of numerous art projects, books, and animated films. Mikhail Korol (b. 1961) is an Israeli poet, cultural scholar, and one of the most respected Russian-speaking guides, the author of several poetry collections. Jerusalem Alphabet is a joint art project by Florensky and Korol. The book includes 33 original illustrations, one for each letter of the Russian alphabet, and the same number of poems, in which the sights, character types and everyday life of Jerusalem are described with irony and affection. The result of their work is a book in a unique format: it is at once a guide to Jerusalem, an art album, and, of course, a poetry collection. |
