Title	Pomax kryl metelyka
Description	The plot of this documentary manga is based on the true story of artist and activist Bohdan Ziza. He was born and raised in Crimea—a peninsula that is part of Ukraine’s territory but has been occupied by the Russian Federation since 2014. In May 2022, following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Bohdan was unlawfully sentenced to 15 years in prison on fabricated charges of alleged "terrorism" and "politically motivated vandalism." At the time, the young man was 27 years old. The actual reason for Bohdan’s detention was a protest against the war and the crimes of the occupiers: he splashed blue and yellow paint on the occupation administration building in Yevpatoria. The artist chose colors symbolizing the Ukrainian national flag. He filmed the protest and edited the video but did not manage to publish it before being illegally arrested. Bohdan Ziza’s story is the story of each of us—the story of those who resisted. "A Butterfly’s Wingbeat" tells of the actions taken by Ukrainian citizens living under occupation—actions that must remain inconspicuous due to persecution by the occupation authorities, yet which, when united, unleash a veritable "hurricane" against the occupiers, who fear resistance and the truth.
